Despite facing financial constraints that have slowed down their 5G progress, Vodafone Idea (Vi) continues to focus on providing new plans and offers to its users. In line with this commitment, the telecom operator recently unveiled two new prepaid recharge plans, specifically designed for users requiring quick data recharge within a short timeframe. These plans cater to the needs of users who often find themselves in situations where they require additional data for tasks such as college projects, video streaming, or gaming.
Vodafone Idea New Recharge Plans
Vi Super Hour Plan: Priced at Rs 24, the Super Hour plan offers unlimited internet access for a duration of one hour. With this plan, Vi users can enjoy uninterrupted high-speed 4G data for a full hour. However, once the hour is up, the internet speed will be adjusted based on the active recharge plan.
Vi Super Day Plan: The Super Day plan, as the name suggests, provides users with a validity of 24 hours and offers 6GB of high-speed 4G internet data for Rs. 49. This plan is ideal for users who require a data top-up for a single day and need to make the most of their internet access.
Important Note: Both plans are data add-on packs and do not include calling or SMS validity. To avail of these plans, users must have an active prepaid recharge plan in place.
Vi’s Statement: Vi shared in an official statement, “These sachet packs are designed especially for the youth and young adults with heavy data requirements. With this, Vi prepaid users can enjoy uninterrupted data usage for activities like binge-watching movies, streaming videos, listening to music, playing games, browsing, chatting, working, or studying without worrying about exhausting their data. Vi customers can also utilize these packs to play Vi Games, enjoy the latest movies and videos on Vi Movies & TV, or listen to their favorite music on Vi Music through the Vi app.”
Base Plan Update: In other news, Vi has reportedly made changes to its base plan. The telco has reduced the validity of its previous Rs 99 base plan, which used to offer a validity of 28 days. The new validity of this plan has been decreased to 15 days.
Changes in Tariff Plans: According to a report by Telecom Talk, Vi has implemented significant changes to its tariff plans in Gujarat, following a similar approach taken in Mumbai. As part of an indirect tariff hike strategy, Vi has reduced the validity of its minimum recharge plans in these regions. The Rs 99 plan, previously valid for 28 days, now offers a validity of 15 days. Similarly, the Rs 128 plan’s validity has been reduced to 18 days instead of 28. However, the advantages provided by these plans, such as 200MB of data and talk time worth Rs 99, remain unchanged.
Vodafone Idea’s introduction of these new recharge plans showcases their dedication to fulfilling the data requirements of their users. The Super Hour and Super Day plans cater to the need for short-term data boosts, allowing users to enjoy uninterrupted internet access for various activities. Additionally, while changes have been made to certain tariff plans, Vi continues to provide value to its customers with attractive offerings.
