Google, the well-known technology company, is preparing to unveil its first foldable smartphone, the Pixel Fold, during the Google I/O 2023 event on May 10th.

The Verge, an American technology news website, reports that Google has not shared any specific details about the device yet. However, a short teaser video shows off a full-size outer display of phone that unfolds in a manner similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold devices. The camera bar on the back of the device resembles that of other Pixel devices, but it doesn’t protrude as noticeably. This aligns with what has been shown in leaked marketing materials and even in a hands-on video.

The smartphone has been the subject of rumors for a considerable amount of time, but its development has now been finally confirmed.

Google shared a video of its upcoming smartphone on Twitter with the caption, “May the Fold be with you.”

Shortly after the technology giant shared the video, fans flooded the comment section with fire emoticons and expressed their excitement as well.

“Seems you got a winner here,” a user wrote.

Another user wrote, “I’m getting it”

“wow it looks stunning,” a user wrote.

In the video, the gadget looks massive design and has a horizontal camera bar at the back, similar to the Pixel 7 Pro. The cameras also feature three distinct camera cutouts, which are most likely meant for wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle, and telephoto sensors.
